I learned such a lot completing this portrait of Queen Victoria for a client. Capturing the likeness as always is the trickiest part, but I hugely enjoyed the challenge
and I’m proud of the finished result!
This is a very recent project, so I am yet to upload turnarounds or wireframes to this section, but they will be added soon and she’s now gracing my showreel with her rather haughty presence!
For now, I hope you enjoy Queen Vic’s judgemental gaze!
Modelled in ZBrush and Maya, textured in Substance Painter, hair created in xGen, rendered in Arnold.
I am responsible for all aspects except the chair model and the brooch/cameo frames (the large swirly brooch was made of individual swirls that I layered to make the shape I wanted).
