This character was made as part of development for a new exciting project at Windle, featuring these cute gremlin-like creatures!
I learned so much through making this little guy - the hair in particular was a really fun and interesting challenge! The last image is one of the main references I used, drawn by my boss - I tried to keep the overall look of the main central character similar while also translating him successfully into 3D.
I am responsible for all character aspects of this project. Sculpted in ZBrush, retopologised in Maya, hair created in XGen, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Maya Arnold.
